I just got back from a much needed vacation. I actually went home to see my folks. As some of you know me you know where home is. Those that don't, it was Biloxi Mississippi. (Yes, Hurricane Katrina...)

It was good to see them. It had nearly been a year, and when I had seen them last it was only for 2 days. The live 600 miles away so it's not like I can see them when ever I want. Plus, I've never been far from my parents before and we are a really tight family.

We did all sorts of things too. Gun range, redneck pool halls, New Orleans, movies. It was fun. It was a good charge of my batteries really since there has been trouble at work. :-/

I did get to see alot of the restoration from Katrina. Because of my situation, I didn't really go back.. It was crazy to see all the new buildings, the bridges, and all the new people. It's also sad to see there are still Katrina trailers ever where. It's just a grim reminder that humans may be the dominant species on the planet, but we will never truly rule the earth.

I was all relaxed coming back but then I worked 7 days straight... ::twitch:: But it's all good. They changed my days off to Friday & Saturday. I'm actually about to head out to the beach for some more relaxing time.. heh.

I posted this since most people think I had disappeared or what not. My forums and here have been neglected for the last 2 weeks. I promise I didn't forget! LOL

New stuff? Coming soon. I'm placing final touches on my dreamcatcher, I have a new bracelet that needs to be photographed, and a million started and unfinished projects... I hope I can post soon..
